Sudbury Book Launch
Sudbury’s former Poet Laureate, Vera Constantineau, will be hosting a launch party for her new book on Saturday, April 15 @ 1pm. Attendees can expect a fun event. Vera is an internationally renowned poet, a great public speaker, and, along with being a good friend to this website, is funny to boot.
Join her at the Hilton Garden Inn (475 Barrydowne Rd) for a brief reading from Enlightened by Defilement. Don’t let the title intimidate you. Vera’s poetry is not the stuff they made you read in school. Her writing is inviting and relatable. Not to mention moving, insightful, and, of course, funny.
