Get Ready to Vote
It’s that time again, voting season. October 24th is the big day when municipal residents get to cast their ballots. The operation of Greater Sudbury for the next four year hinges on this election and those elected to represent the various wards.
If you live in Capreol then you vote in Ward 7. Mike Jakubo had held that seat but he is retiring to pursue other interests. Meaning ours is the only ward GUARANTEED to have someone new on city council. Given the disgusting disfunction scene at Tom Davis Square during the last term, it is vital that citizens of Ward 7 choose someone capable of defending their interests AND able to work well with others.
Luckily residents will have a chance to hear from Ward 7’s candidates on September 26th. The Debate takes place at the Capreol Arena, starting at 7pm. Questions are encouraged.
