Note from a Grateful Mom

From the bottom of my heart I would like to give a big thank you to friends and family, teachers, strangers, the community and beyond. I can’t thank you all by name because I would be here for hours and missing someone would break my heart. This brings me to the old saying “ it takes a village to raise a child” which I whole heartedly believe. In our case the overwhelming support that has poured in from across Canada to the states, and so on is so mind blowing that in our world it feels like the universe has come together to support us. Such a rough time In our lives has opened our eyes to the love that exists in this world.

At one point I was so overwhelmed with the support I asked a friend “how will I ever repay and thank everyone”? She said “no one is asking you to just pay it forward”. I will have you know from that day on I have made it my daily mission to pay it forward in any way I can and this will happen for the rest of my life. This has also been a gift that all of you have given me.

I will name one who has helped me through this. Without God I would never have gotten through. He never lets me down and is always there when I need him.

Avalon is definitely the strongest girl I know. If I were in her shoes I would be complaining left right and centre but she is “tough as nails” as her dad would say. She inspires me every day. I’m Blessed to call her my daughter. One silver lining from this is we get to grow together.

All that supported us are amazing, giving, and we also could not do this without your support, thank you and God bless you all!
